I simply could not be happier with the team from iFoam
My journey started with meeting Randy and Robert who went thru our attic and developed a plan which included the challenge of us having a heat shield layer on our roof deck........Randy did the research needed including reaching out to the Heat Shield manufacturer so they knew exactly what steps to take
The iFoam team was incredibly accommodating with our schedule
The iFoam team took above average care of our home during the process including protecting staircases, flooring and clean up upon completion
iFoam is not the least expensive however they are THE BEST and if you value your home and want something done the right way than iFoam is your answer
One of our goals was to limit the heat that gathers in our attic space especially since we have multiple HVAC units running in that space as well as a bonus room that the attic surrounds
Our attic would reach 105° or more during the summer, never cool below 85° and often the humidity would creep into the high 60's........we will not have to worry about that ever again as now the room will be a controlled environment with teams ranging from. 65° to 80° tops
From a data, hard fact perspective......I have 3 temp / humidity sensors in the attic which I monitor on my phones app and so far the expected temps have been spot on, example on March 22nd the outside temp was 89° while the attic peaked at 75°........prior to iFoam the attic would've been 95°
On the app I can see history by week/month/year........when I look at the graph prior to the iFoam Spray Foam Insulation, the lines are all over from low to high, after the Spray Foaming the graph lines are now steady, no more crazy highs and lows
All of this will now enable our two HVAC units to breath and perform in ideal conditions as well as keep our bonus room cool / warm with minimal effort compared to before saving money in electric bills
